Pogo 36

Pogo 44

Pogo has a long lasting legacy on transatlantic races like the mini Transat, and the class 40, and has proven to build very fast boats, especially downwind. The Pogo36 is probably the best cruiser-racer of the shipyard, coming to upgrade the so successful Pogo12.50.

The timeless duo of  FINOT-CONQ added a few extra strokes of inspiration to its predecessor and the Pogo36 was born.

Speed

Vacuum infusion is the key for making light, yet very strong hulls. Pogo knows this techinque very well.

Along with the Carbon mast, the light hull makes the boat very easy to plane.

The 2.95m Keel allows for a very large sail area.

The wide 4 m stern provides stability.

All these characteristics make the Pogo36 sail very fast, especially downwind.

Comfort

All the cruiser racers of Pogo share the same spacious interior due to the wide stern and the minimalistic design.

The new addition of faceted portholes provide a lot of sunlight and easy inspection from the interior of the boat.

The lifting keel allows you to reach beautiful shallow beaches, cross shallow passages, or just be the closest one to the shore in the bay.

Safety

The boyancy foam, a safety feature inherited by the crossatlantic origins of the shipyard, makes the boat unsincable.

Similarly, the solo sailing tradition, follows this model as well. All the lines come back in the cockpit for easy handling. A skilled sailor can easily handle the Pogo36 singlehanded, it's a joy for doublehanded, and for a team of good sailors it is just a game; Speed sailing made easy.
