About Us

Dimitris Kalantzis started sailing at a young age. Quickly he went into racing with very good results. He started working as a skipper parallel to his studies as a dream summer job.

He dropped out of his PhD in quantum physics to focus on sailing 12 years ago.

Ever since, he has been fortunate enough to be skippering high-end performance boats like the SIG 45, Pogo50, Pogo 12.50, X-Yachts etc.

Simultaneously he received his sailing instructor’s license on 2011 and has been teaching sailing ever since.

Being hooked on sailing with fast boats, the next step was to set up his company with a dream to offer high quality sailing experience, for holiday or racing. This gave birth to ulyssessailing.gr
