Training Schedule
We offer training sessions to improve your sailing skills. Our highly proficient trainers will teach you how to push your skills to another level. From trimming, to tactics, to managing long passages and many others, our courses are designed to do just that; make you a better sailor.
Three kinds of training
*Updated for 2026!
| 1. Long Passage – Med cruising | Level: Beginner – Intermediate | Difficulty: Medium |
| 2. Train and race | Level: Intermediate and higher | Difficulty: Hard |
| 3. Train and certificate | Level: Novice | Difficulty: Medium |
Designed primarily for races, this course plans to hone your trimming and tactics skills. Starting from Athens, and using the typically windy Aegean Sea as a playground we train and race. With two identical JPK39, we train in match race mode and after the training we test our skills against a competitive fleet.
While training we chase the wind. We set sail every morning, slalom between the islands to practice sail changes, upwind trimming, downwind trimming, tactics, starting procedures, teamwork, short-handed sailing, sailing during the night etc. For 2026 we have planned these events.
a. Hydra Race 21 – 29 March 2026
We train out on the islands from Saturday to Thursday. On Friday we start in the most prestigous race that opens the season, arriving in the very picturesque island of Hydra, ~60 Nm. On Saturday we have an inshore race in the morning, explore the beautiful island in the evening, and attend the party in the night. On Sunday we sail back to Athens, ~60 Nm.
Participation fee:
2000 € / person.
Min number of people: 3, maximum: 6
b. Cyclades Regatta 20 -28 June 2026
A race for competition but also pleasure. The fleet is competitive, yet there are days off in the beautifull islands to relax and explore, or just go to the party that the hosting Yacht Club throws. We could also go out and train a bit more. This race is the perfect combination of pushing but also relaxing and geting a taste of the local islands.
This year’s schedule is to be announced in December. Last year’s scedule is below, to give you an idea of the setup:
. Saturday 21/06: Athens-Kimolos 73 Nm
. Monday 23/06: Kimolos-Koufonisi 50 Nm

The focus of the training is trimming, fast sail changes and teamwork.
c. Aegean 600 30 June – 11 July 2026
The Schedule is two weeks long. We train the first week and race the second. At the end of the training week, we will take part at the first Aegean 600 race, a non-stop race destined to become iconic. Starting below the impressive temple of Poseidon in Athens, slaloming between the islands, using the spectacular cliffs of Santorini as a door and returning back to the point where the god of wind and sea oversees his kingdom, all of that in the typical windy meltemi conditions. The prevailing north wind of the Aegean during July and August is going to offer some pretty spectacular and fast downwind legs, some very tactical upwind and some impressive beem reach legs.
